This legend of Zelda game is built specifically for the Wii. Unlike twilight princess, it takes full control of all the possibilities of the Wii’s motion sensor. Players will have to develop a plan for enemies if they truly wish to stay alive. Even the most basic enemies have changed their attack some how, as it’s been reported Deku-bobbas [A common plant like enemy in past Zelda games] open their mouth a certain way. Instead of mindlessly slashing at one, Link will have to draw his sword a certain way in order to slice through the beast’s mouth.

If you’re wondering, the answer is “yes”, there is motion sensor plus for the upcoming game. This allows players to now truly hold the “power of the goddesses” [Wii] in their own hand. Unfortunately this game will not be released for some time, as Game informer has reported there were still issues with aiming Links bow. Otherwise the game looks pretty awesome, despite that it looks like our hero got downgraded from the looks he had in Twilight Princess. It also looks like his tunic has become a lighter green and more similar to the original in Ocarina of Time.

It seems link has kept some of his old equipment and might be earning more as the adventure continues. Apparently Link has a whip in this game, [Just like Indiana Jones =D] thus making killing bats so much easier. Thanks to the motion plus sensor, one does not need to pause the game to set equipment for their next battle. As you run, you can hold the B button and slide through your weapons with the Wii remote. I’m definitely looking forward to its appearance on shelves, so I can put its case on mine. The game will be released sometime during 2011.

The fan anticipation for this game is growing exponentially so I am sure it will sell out just as fast as Twilight Princess did. If you don’t want to be left waiting, you can click this link to pre-order and get more information on the release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
