Star Wars – The Blueprints Book

Tell your friends about this! (Other social media links below the post!)

Just when you thought you had every Star Wars collectible worth getting, a company called “Epic Ink” is releasing a book entitled “Star Wars – The Blueprints“.

This is not one of those kid books with imaginary pictures of theoretical ships, these are actual film blueprints created by the engineering and design teams featuring planned set designs, initial concepts, and individual models.

Some of the highlights include R2D2, the Millennium Falcon, Yoda’s House, Carbon Freezing Chamber, Jabba’s Barge, and even the Ewok Village.

The item has not been released yet, but is available for pre-order. It will be made in a limited quantity of only 5,000 copies. Each book comes in a custom-made cloth case, and includes a certificate of authenticity.

It is a bit pricey, but considering the images it promises, it may be worthwhile for a true collector.

Per the site:
Pricing structure for each number range:
Level One: Signed* and hand-numbered copies #1-125 @ $1,000
Level Two: Hand-numbered copies #126-5,000 @ $500

*”Signed by the three surviving Academy-Award® winners for Best Art Direction (Star Wars, 1978): art director Norman Reynolds; art director Les Dilley; and set dresser Roger Christian.”

You can get more information and images on the link above. Good Luck!
