Final NASA Launch Postponed to 2011

Tell your friends about this! (Other social media links below the post!)

By now you know the NASA Space Shuttle Program is being brought to a close. The final launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavor was planned for November of this year. The shuttle will bring spare parts and equipment to the International Space Shuttle.

The good news here is that there is a delay with getting all the parts so the final shuttle launch has been moved to February 26, 2011. So what does this mean to you? Well now you have more time to save money to buy that flight ticket to Cape Canaveral so you can see it in person. Just remember, the schedule changes often and will probably change again so buy your tickets as close as possible to the launch date, and have a plan B (i.e. Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando) just in case! Time to check Priceline for deals!

The NASA launch schedule can be found here .

I am planning on going for the next launch. I can’t wait! I’ve been wanting to do this my whole life. Anyone know where I can get some tips on viewing for free?

Cool info. I think I went to the wrong one last time. The one in Washington DC. I was wondering where the shuttle was. Now I know…duh. Thanks.
